There were 318 sixth grade students enrolled in Johnson County schools in the 2024-25 school year, 5.4% fewer than the previous year, according to the Kentucky Department of Education.

W. R. Castle Memorial Elementary School welcomed most of the sixth grade students in the county, registering 77 students.
