59.8% unemployed in Martin in 2018

59.8 percent of Martin residents between 16 and 65 years old were unemployed in 2018, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The percentage of unemployed residents was greater than the statewide total of 40.7 percent for this demographic group. In 2018 the total Martin population reached 465.

Out of 187 people who had a job, 10 were employed in the Armed Forces and 177 belonged to the civilian labor force.
