The University of Pikeville enrolls 1,499 undergrads

At the University of Pikeville, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Pikeville enrolled 2,317 students in fall 2018, including 1,499 in undergraduate and 818 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 21 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (87 percent) and Black or African American (8 percent).
