Germantown home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Germantown rose by $32,550 while total sales decreased by 4.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 232 homes sold, with a median sale price of $410,000 - a 8.6% increase over the $377,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 242 homes sold in Germantown in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Germantown for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,915, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
